Recreational village in the valley of river Kamenice, about 3 km of Kytlice. In the middle of 16th century the Vartenberks built here the saw-mill. Fifty years later there was established the village. The inhabitants worked mainly as woodmen, spiners and glassmakers. In village you can find several examples of folk timber houses. The progress of village was also connected with building of railway in the year 1869.
